Qasim Khan Case
Achieved multiple critical determinations for citizenship and dual nationality issues:
Individuals with doubtful citizenship—whose ACC/POR cards were blocked or who were part of another family tree—can now have their cases reviewed by the Interior Ministry/NADRA to resume Pakistani citizenship using historical documentation.
Pakistani women married to Afghan citizens can hold dual citizenship, and vice versa.
Children of Pakistani and Afghan parents may hold dual citizenship until the age of 21, after which they must choose one nationality.
ACC and POR cards of bona fide Pakistani citizens can be cancelled if previously issued incorrectly.
